Wednesday 15th August

Dear Mr. Tesco

Is there any chance you could start stocking some food on your shelves please or is that too much to ask? Harassed working Mums with hyper active kids sometimes like to shop at unusual times. Obviously my last visit did not coincide with your last delivery.

Once more had to pop into M&S where I came back with every flavour of tea cake available (note to self: leave ASD child at home as decision making is not his forte).

Hugs and kisses

Sunday 12th August

Sat by my pond at lunchtime watching iridescent blue dragonfly waggling it’s tail at me. Also bought more pond clobber; 2 mini bulrushes, gravel, stone caves and tub of pond moss. The latter has probably come from the pond in the village up the road. Lady let me have it for half price so only charged me two quid. These pond accessories are costing me a fortune! Lovely to see magpies this morning drinking from it though. One then flew onto the bird table and the other onto the bird feeder.

Saturday 11th August

Having lovely peaceful evening watching “The Hobbit” and quaffing back rather delightful bottle of vintage cider that has been chilling in the fridge for days. Aaahhh…..lovely.

Hmmmm….Thorin son of Thrain is looking rather attractive. Absolutely loving the long hair and beardy looks! Just have another glug of this delicious apple juice….hic…..

…..the elves are looking pretty hot too (or is it the cider I’ve been drinking)….

OMG…..the six pack on The Pale Orc…I think I should go to bed lol…..

Friday 10th August

Right….have watered the frog for the day…..my care of small animals knows no bounds. He’s a bit reluctant to vacate the grow bag for his new pond. I’ve even provided tasteful looking frog home but to no avail. Perhaps he’s no longer in the grow bag…I wonder….perhaps he never recovered from the shock of me trying to plant him in the lavender ….how was I to know he was hiding in the compost…..
